Sue was always ready to go out for coffee, tea and cake. We spent happy hours down at the seafront eating ice cream regardless of the weather. I miss her greatly.

Sue was the best of friends and I very much valued our shared friendship, so ‘I will smile because she has lived’ (David Harkins, 1982) and will hold her memory dear.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Sue for over 40 years. For many years we worked together as part of the family business otherwise called Solihull Housing Department. Latterly Sue was my dear friend who readily gave her time even as her health was failing to reminisce with me and of course to strongly make known her opinions. Sue always was able to talk to people and to listen which made her so well liked by everyone who had the joy of knowing Sue.
My memories of Sue as a colleague and as a friend are the same.
Calm and caring full of empathy and a pleasure to have known for so many years.
God bless Sue I will be one of the many people glad to have known you and will miss you.
